“ F/9- Iso 100 and 1/200 sec (the speed my flash syncs on- yes I used flash outside in bright daylight in Australia reason is: to eleminate shadows under the eyebrows that cause the eyes to fall in dar shade… and so faces are perfectly lit.) That contrasted so perfectly fine with the red earth colour under our feet and the red colour of the Rock – Uluru – Ayers Rock in the background.
I ran upstairs to grab my camera. Set my camera to these so very often & nearly become “standard” settings, and boom, a series of photographs. Story telling. That is what I do. I use photography to communicate with you guys, the rest of the world.
